Who We Are

Is Capital Desk a wealth manager or investment advisor?

+

No. We're a pure IT infrastructure boutique. We set up your TradingView workspace and train you to use the platform without mistakes — watchlist, chart layout, order types.

We never give buy or sell recommendations, we don't analyse financial markets, and we don't manage third-party capital.

What's the difference between Capital Desk and my broker's support?

+

Broker support handles accounts, deposits and passwords — nobody there has 60 minutes for your personal chart setup. We do: 1-on-1, just for you.

Do you need my login details or access to my live account?

+

Never, at any point. The entire onboarding runs 100% remote via screen share. Setup and practice happen exclusively on a demo or paper trading account.

Your passwords and your live capital stay with you at all times.

02
The Platform

TradingView, Briefly Explained

What is TradingView, and why is it our base platform?

+

TradingView is the charting and analysis platform we work with — proven, stable, and connectable to almost every broker. Because it works across platforms, your setup stays with you even if you switch brokers.

For us, it's the most reliable foundation for building a setup that lasts.

Do I need a paid TradingView subscription?

+

No. The free basic version is fully sufficient for the setup. If you later want more indicators or price alerts, you can upgrade any time — that decision is entirely yours, independent of us.

And cTrader — when does that come into play?

+

Our standard is TradingView. If you prefer cTrader, we set that up just as professionally on request.

  • Ideal for short-term CFD trading (forex, indices)
  • Often free in the professional version
  • Not available with every broker

The Broker

Broker Independence & Transparency

Do I have to open an account with your partner broker to use the setup?

+

No, you have complete flexibility. Our setup is based on TradingView and works with any compatible broker. Our partner broker is simply a recommendation we've vetted, for anyone still looking for a reliable connection.

You can use our service entirely independent of your broker choice.

Why do you receive a commission from the partner broker?

+

Transparency matters to us: if you choose our partner broker through our link, we receive a referral commission for that.

This doesn't change your setup, your trading conditions, or the price — it comes at no extra cost to you.

Why do you recommend a raw-spread broker if I don't have one yet?

+

At high trading frequency, every basis point of spread matters — that's why our Day-Trader Setup is specifically calibrated for raw-spread account structures to minimise slippage. Onboarding costs the same regardless of which broker you end up choosing. Current pricing is available on request.

More on our partner brokers →

I'd like to keep my current broker. Can I still use the service?

+

Yes. The Swing-Trader and Long-Term Investor Setups both run exactly the same regardless of broker and always cost the same, whether you use our partner broker or your own.

The Process

The 60-Minute Onboarding

How exactly does the 60-minute onboarding work?

+

We meet online in a secure remote session, in three clearly separated phases:

01
10 minutes — Fundamentals

The platform interface gets decluttered, the visual chart design tuned.

02
20 minutes — Workspace

Your personal watchlist, indicators and timeframes get structured.

03
30 minutes — Practice & Handover

Order management practiced on a demo account until every click sits right — then a secure handover.

Sounds like the setup you need? See how it works →

Does the setup fit my specific trading style (day trading, swing trading, etc.)?

+

Yes. The technical method (10 + 20 + 30 minutes) always stays the same, since it's the foundation for working without mistakes.

The content — which timeframes we set, which watchlists we build, what the chart design looks like — is calibrated exactly to your approach: day trader, swing trader, or long-term investor.

Why does the setup happen exclusively on a demo account?

+

For security reasons. You practice order execution on a demo account, with no risk from misclicks. Afterward, you transfer the finished setup to your live account yourself — we never have access to your real money at any point.

Can you see my account balance during the session?

+

No. Everything runs on a demo account or with privacy mode enabled. After the setup, we end the connection and you log into your live account on your own. Your finances stay 100% yours.

Do I have to give my passwords to Capital Desk?

+

Never. We work over a secure Zoom remote connection — you see everything live and can cancel at any time. We never get access to your live account or real login credentials; everything runs on the demo account.

What do I need to prepare for the 60-minute Zoom session?

+

A stable internet connection, the free Zoom client, and your login details for the TradingView or cTrader demo account — already logged in before the session, then we're ready to go.

Exactly when can I book my remote session?

+

After booking and paying the setup fee, we arrange your appointment for the 60-minute session. Opening an account with the broker and setup with us are two legally separate matters, our system stores no customer data.

Can't I just do the setup myself?

+

Sure, you could. You'll find the individual building blocks everywhere online — one video on watchlists, one on indicators, one on chart layouts. What's missing is someone who puts it all together for your broker and your style — otherwise that takes weeks. With us, you're up and running from minute one, no YouTube odyssey required.

05
Before Launch

Price & Pre-Launch

Why aren't there fixed prices on the website yet?

+

Capital Desk officially launches mid-December 2026. Since we run exclusive 1-on-1 sessions only, our capacity is limited.

We're currently taking waitlist spots — exact terms will be communicated directly to everyone on the list at official launch.

Is the service tax-deductible?

+

You receive a regular invoice for IT services. Whether it's deductible for you is best clarified with your tax advisor.
